The days when clients would run 'sheep-dip' programmes with populist headings are over; learning professionals now want to start from a rigorous analysis of learning needs for each target group.
Sometimes this has been done before we become involved, on other occasions we provide such analysis as part of the service. There is a range of approaches, the choice of which will depend on a number of factors, including the size of the target group, the nature of the course and the budget available.
